Knit Buttoned Pocket Stole Wrap Pattern

BBM-101 Commuter :  This pattern contains directions to knit the stole shown.   Although actual size is not stated, from appearance, this stole is just a bit wider than the typical.  Worked in seed stitch, it has a band along the inside edge that buts up, at the ends by large pockets across the span.   And, just in case you'd like to keep something in the pockets (besides warming your hands), these pockets have four, both functional and decorative, buttons.   The pattern design is vintage 1951 from Botany Mills.

• 3--4oz. skeins "Botany" Brand Germantown Knitting Worsted 
• Suggested color : #2715 (Fog)
• Knitting needles #10 (standard)
• 8buttons – 1 ½" diameter

gauge: 7 sts.-2 inches; 5 rows-1 inch
