Knit Cable Hat Pattern Long Tassel

Faux Stocking Hat : This pattern contains instructions to knit, with crochet edges, the hat pictured above. This has the strong, and ever popular, cable, fold up band and a really long tassel. This hat will be fun to wear with every flip of the the head ! It is a one-size, vintage 1960s, pattern from Bernat. 

Materials Required: 

• - Bernat Blarney Spun (2 oz balls) - 2
• - 1 pair each Bernat Aero straight knitting needles Nos 6 and 8 (Canadian needles Nos 8 and 6)
• - 1 Bernat Aero cable stitch needle
• 1 Bernat Aero croceht hook size G (Canadian Wool Crochet Hook No 9)

Gauge: 19 sts = 4 inches; 5 rows = 1 inch.
