Knit Crisscross Plaid Sweater Pattern Boat Neck Long Sleeve

Tivoli Pullover: This pattern contains instructions to knit, crochet detail, the pattern pictured above. The scarlet and white diagonals crisscross the soft blue background on an excitingly new boat-necked pullover. Knit the front and back on the bias, working in stripes as you go. Narrow overlines are crocheted on later. This pattern is sized 12, 14 and 16. Directions are for size 12, with changes for 14 and 16 shown in parentheses. The pattern includes a 4 page handout on knitting tips.

Materials:

• Columbia Minerva Reverie, 1 oz balls in blue red and white
• 14 inch knitting needles Nos 3 and 8 (Or English sizes 10 and 4)
• Aluminum crochet hook size F

Gauge: 4 sts = 1 inch; 11 rows = 2 inches.
