Knit Crochet Beret and Scarf No 5431

Beret & Scarf:    This pattern gives directions to create the beret and scarf pictured.   These are two separate patterns - one for knitting and one for crochet -- as illustrated in the picture.  Each done is worked in three colors with options to mix or match the pompom, tassels or fringe with three different yarn selections.   These are easy beginner patterns.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5431.  The newspaper description:  "Whether you crochet or knit you'll be able to make this pretty set of matching tam and scarf. Pattern 5431 has directions for both knit and crochet"
