Description

Knitted Afghan: This pattern contains directions for knitting, crochet edging, the afghan shown. An easy project made in three shades of knitting worsted - or colors of your choice. A classic harlequin or diamond motif design will form an afghan that measures 62 x 70 inches when completed.

Materials:

  • CHADWICK'S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply, Art. E.232: 19 skeins (1 oz. "Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins) of No. 789 Bittersweet; 31 skeins of No. 647 Surf Green.
  • Milwards "Phantom" Aluminum Knitting Pins or Clark's O.N.T. Plastic Knitting Pins, 1 pair No. 5 (3-3/4 mm. size).
  • Clark's O.N.T. Plastic Crochet Hook No. 5.

GAUGE: 5-1/2 sts make 1 inch; 7 rows make 1 inch.
