CM732-31 Hooded Coat : This pattern contains instructions to knit, crochet detail, the hooded coat pictured above. This is a marvelous coat, check type pattern stitch and contrast bands at long sleeve ends, front buttons and hood edge. It has pockets and is below hip length. Perfect to add a little fun to that winter wardrobe. This vintage 1960s pattern, from Columbia Minerva, is sized Small (10-12), Medium (14-16) and Large (18-20). Instructions are for small, with changes for medium and large shown in parentheses. 

MATERIALS REQUIRED 

• - Columbia-Minerva Calibar (2 oz skein) Main Color (MC) - 11(13-15) skeins, Contrasting Color (CC) - 9(11-13) skeins OR Columbia-Minerva Nylon and Wool Calibrette (2 oz skein) Main Color (MC) - 10 (12-14) skeins, Contrasting Color (CC) - 8(10-12)skeins 
• - Knitting Needles: 1 pair each "Boye" Sizes 10 and 13 - 14 inch 
• - 1 "Boye" Aluminum Crochet Hook "I" (Size 7 or 8) 

Gauge: 8 sts to 3 inches; 5 rows to 1 inch (Size 10 needles - pattern st) 5 sts to 1 1/2 inches; 7 1/2 rows to 2 inches (Size 13 needles - St. St.).
