Knit Mohair Jacket and Dress, Style 5057

Style 1778-118 :  This pattern gives directions to knit, crochet detail, the suit pictured.   This mohair two piece suit is a perfect mix and match ... they go together as well as they will in other combinations.  The dress is a basic straight design, easy to knit, with high neckline, knee (adjustable) length and high neckline.   The jacket is a splash of three colors in a block motif.  It has a small collar, three quarter sleeves and is below waist length.  Full page charts are included for the color blocked jacket.

These directions are for size 12. Changes for sizes 14, 16 and 18 are in parentheses. 

MATERIALS 

• BERNAT MOHAIRLAINE (1 oz. Balls) — 12 (13-14-15) Periwinkle for dress  
• 1 circular knitting needle No. 6 OR ANY SIZE NEEDLE WHICH WILL GIVE THE STITCH GAUGE GIVEN BELOW 
• 1 steel crochet hook No. 2 

 GAUGE: 6 sts = 1 inch; 8 rows = 1 inch
