Description
Plaid Stole: This pattern gives directions for knitting, crochet and weaving detail, the stole pictured. The official 1953 magazine description: " The newest of stoles, triangular and deeply fringed like Grandma's shawl, but now in an emphatic plaid" Actual measurements are not stated.
Materials:
- Columbia or Minerva Fingering Yarn, 8 1-oz. balls Gray (G) ; 2 balls each of Red (R) and Black (B).
- "Boye" 29" circular needle No. 3. (Or, English size, 10.)
- "Boye" steel crochet hook No. 3.
- Blunt end tapestry needle.
