Description

Smocked Simplicity : This pattern contains instructions for knitting the blouse pictured. This beauty, vintage 1948, has smocking detail across the shoulders and striped pattern rows accentuating the front button band detail and below waist body. It's graced with long sleeves, a delicate v-neckline and 6 button closure. The pattern is sized for women 34, 38 and 42.

Materials:

  • Fleisher's Casa-Laine Sport Yarn 7 (8,10) 2-oz. balls or Fleisher's Fleecy Zephyr 5 (6,7) 2-oz. skeins.
  • No. 3 and No. 4 knitting needles.
  • No. 2 crochet hook.
  • 6 buttons.

BUST MEASUREMENT: Buttoned. 37 (41,45)". GAUGE: No. 3 needles-7 sts = 1". 9 rows =1 ".
