Knit Tabbard Blouse Pattern, Striped

Bright Outlook:  This pattern contains directions to knit the blouse pictured.   The design is a tabbard styled blouse; made in to pieces, each 18 x 23 inches and bound together with ribbon and  stitched at lower side seams.  It features a striped pattern stitch and contrast band at arm openings and bottom band.  This piece can easily become as dressy or as casual as you'd like.   Interestingly enough (or not), the size is not stated.  I'd suggest if you need with wider than 18" that you would need to gauge and add additional rows.  

Materials: - J.& P. COATS KNIT-CRO-SHEEN, 3 balls of Black and 2 ballsof Peasant (color 168);   - Milward's Casein Knitting Pins, 1 pair No.2 (2¾ mm.size);   - 5yds. black grosgrain ribbon, 3 inches wide.
