Description

Summer Tweed Outfit : This pattern contains instructions to knit the ever attractive dress pictured above. The dress combines two synthetic yarns for tweed and solid look. The skirt has knit in pleats, fashioned by graduated ribbing. The top picks up deep blue color - note pocket-band interests and a cool neckline. This vintage 1960s pattern is a fashionable today as it was then. The design is sized 10 to 10. The instructions is written for size 10, with changes for 12, 14 and 16 shown in parentheses. 

Materials: 

  • - Bucilla Paradize, 1 oz skeins in MC and CC
  • - 14 inch knitting needles No 4 and 5
  • - 24 inch (29 inch) circular knitting needles No 5 (Or English sizes 9 and 8)
  • - Four stitch holders
  • - One yard 3/4 inch elastic and large eyed needle.

Gauge: 6 sts = 1 inch; 8 rows = 1 inch (Stockinette st, No 5 needles)
