Description

Aran Beauty: This pattern contains directions to knit the pullover pictured. This wonderfully bulky pullover is an Aran styled design; worked in Moss Stitch and 4 other pattern variations. The loose fitting sweater, is hip length with ribbed edges and a tall fold over turtleneck. The varying pattern stitch extended down the long arms . This pattern, vintage 1960's from American Thread, is misses size Small, Medium and Large.

Materials:

  • AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" KNITTING WORSTED or DAWN "SAYELLE" 5 (6, 6) 4 oz. skeins Sand or Honey Beige
  • 1 Set of Double Pointed Knitting Needles No. 6
  • 1 Pr. each Knitting Needles No. 6 and No. 8 OR ANY SIZE NEEDLES WHICH WILL RESULT IN STITCH GAUGE

GAUGE for No. 8 needles: 5 sts = 1 inch.
