Knitted Baby Bootees Pattern, Three Variations

You may knit these bootees from a basic bootee pattern into three variations. Each pair is made from approximately 1 ounce of baby yarn; use size 3 knitting needles. You will also need a size 5 or 6 crochet hook to make the crochet trim around top of bootee.

Description

Knitted Booties : This pattern gives directions to knit, crochet top trim detail, the bootees pictured.   Knit these bootees in a combination of stockinette and garter stitches in three different variations, as shown on the picture.   A half page chart is included for the base pattern.   This is a vintage 1948 pattern that appeared in Workbasket Magazine.  

Materials: Approximately 1 ounce of baby yarn;   Size 3 knitting needles;   Size 5 or 6 crochet hook to make the crochet trim around top of bootee.
