Knitted Baby Shawl Blanket Pattern

Star Stitch Baby Set : This pattern is a twosome set --- one knit and one crochet -- for baby. First is "a cover for lover -a knitted shawl and measures 32 x 34 inches and then a crochet blanket which measures 25 x 33 inches. Both pieces are soft and attractive. They are vintage American Thread Co.

Materials - Shawl:

• AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" NYLON or NYLON POMPADOUR or "DAWN" BABY YARN, 9 ounces White and "STAR" SIX STRAND MERCERIZED EMBROIDERY COTTON, Article 50, 1 skein each Dk. Spring Green No. 904 and Yellow No. 1006, 2 skeins Dk. Sky Blue No. 1033 or colors of your choice 
• 1 pr. Knitting Needles No. 4 
• 1-1/4 yds 1/4 inch Blue ribbon 

GAUGE: 7 stitches = 1 inch

Materials: Blanket:
- AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" BULKY YARN, 12 ounces Pearl Gray, 8 ounces Shell Pink or colors of your choice
- Plastic crochet hook size J
- 2 yds. 3 inch ribbon

GAUGE: 6 sts = 2 inches
