Knitted Baby Sweater and Bonnet Pattern, 6 months

Baby Sweater and Bonnet :  This pattern gives directions to knit, crochet detail, the baby set shown.   This vintage 1948 design from Workbasket includes the sweet sweater and matching bonnet.  The sweater, with pompom ties has a lacy yoke and open front.  The pattern is written for baby at approx. 6 months. 

Materials:  It is made from three-fold white baby yarn and size 3 knitting needles. It takes approximately 3 ounces of yarn to make this set. For the crochet trim around the neck use a number 5 crochet hook.
