Description

Jackie Sweater No 745:   This knitting pattern, crochet detail, gives directions to make the sweater pictured.   A sweet design, perfect for little girls, features a lacy seed stitched pattern, yoked with square neckline and shoulder button closure.  It is written for Baby Size 2.   Note:  The materials specified in the pattern are no longer available; choose your threads based on gauge. 

Materials: 

  • Lorraine Perlette (All Rayon), 6 balls
  • 1 pair 14 inch Steel Knitting Needles, Size 1
  • Steel Crochet Hook, Size 4

MEASUREMENTS (After Blocking)—Chest 22 inches. Length from lower edge to shoulder 11 ½ inches. Sleeves—Width below underarm 8 inches.

GAUGE:  Seed St — 9 sts=1 inch; 16 rows=1 inch l  Pattern St (after blocking) 17 sts=2 inches; 11 rows=1 inch (before blocking) 9 sts=1 inch; 14 rows=1 inch
