Description

Knitted Beret & Mitten Set:  This pattern contains directions for a warm knitted beret and mitten set. Done in a flat piece on two needles only, both beret and mittens are worked in a jiffy-knit ribbed stitch in two shades of one color. Beret is trimmed with a knitted button and fits all head sizes. Mittens include three sizes: small, medium and large.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7298 in 1968.   The pattern was included in the 1970 Needlecraft Patterns Catalog.
