Description

Two Way Shirt: This pattern contains directions to knit the blouse shown. This vintage 1953 pattern was billed as a "two way shirt' due to it having two ways to be worn. 1 - without dickey and 2 - with dickey, giving it to different looks. The knitted blouse with rounded neckline and collar is hip length with rolled elbow length sleeves and back snap neck closure. There is a detachable dickey that snaps in under the rounded collar for the second look. The pattern is womans size 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18.

Materials:

  • Chadwick's Red Heart Knitting Worsted, 4 Ply, Art. E. 230B (2 oz. Tangle-Proof Pull-Out skein): 5 (5, 6, 5, 7) sks. of Skipper Blue (A) 3 sks. of White (B); 1 sk. of Scarlet (C).
  • No. 5 knitting needles.
  • 1 dz. snap fasteners.

GAUGE: 5 sts = 1" ; 8 rows = 1".

Knitted Bust Measurements: 31 (33, 35, 37, 39)".
