Knitted Butterfly Afghan Square Design 7190

Knitted Afghan:  This pattern contains directions for a knitted afghan made of 10-inch squares. Join either all butterfly squares or alternate with plain blocks. Odds and ends of wool may be used for butterflies in varied colors; or make all butterflies in the same combination of colors. Use white or black for background.  The squares measure 10 inches each. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7190 in 1958.
