Knitted Cable Coat Pattern, Knee Length, Alice Brooks 7246

Knitted Coat : This pattern gives instructions to knit the coat pictured. This is an intermediate to advanced pattern worked in either Knitting Worsted or Orlon Sayelle. The design features 3/4 length sleeves, small notched collar, front button band, and wide cable panels at sides of button band. This knee length coat pattern is written for misses size 32-34, with changes for 36-38 in parentheses.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7246.  "Top of sleeveless dresses, separates with a knit coat that refuses to crease and is light weight but ultra warm. Knit cable trimmed, go-everywhere, coat to wear right up to the coldest weather".   It was also marketed as Laura Wheeler 607.
