Description

Knitted Coat : This pattern contains instruction to knit, crochet detail, the coat pictured above. This vintage 1960s pattern, from Columbia Minerva, features the ever popular cable stripe pattern, along with patch pockets, three quarter sleeves, thin shawl collar and above knee length. The pattern is sized Small (10-12), Medium (14-16) and Large (18-20). Instructions are in Small, with changes for Medium and Large in parentheses. 

MATERIALS REQUIRED 

  • - Columbia-Minerva Calypso. Germantown Knitting Worsted (2 or 4 oz skein) - 30(34-40) ozs OR Columbia-Minerva Knitting Worsted (4 QZ skein) -- 8(9-10) skeins
  • - Knitting Needles: 1 pair "Boye" Size 8 -- 14 inch, 1 "Boye" Cable Needle 
  • - 1 "Boye" Steel Crochet Hook Size. 0.
