Knitted Cardigan Pattern with Mohair Collar

Mohair Trimmed Cardigan : This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet detail, the cardigan shown. This is a stand-out piece whenever a dressy cardigan may be called for. The cardigan itself is front buttoned with a patterned button band, three quarter sleeves and hip length. And, to take it to something special , add the over sized notch collar and wide cuffs made in a contrast shade of mohair. For misses, this vintage 1962 pattern is size 12, 14, 16 and 18.

Materials:

• BERNAT Nylo Germantown (2 oz. skeins), Main Color (MC)-8 (9-9-10) skeins. BERNAT Mohairspun (1 oz. Pull skein), Contrasting Color (CC)-3 skeins.
• Knitting needles: 1 pro each of No. 5'and No.8 OR ANY SIZE NEEDLES WHICH WILL GIVE THE STITCH GAUGE
• Steel crochet hook No 0.
• 7 rings½ in dia. for buttons.

GAUGE: Main Color-5 sts = 1"; 7 rows = 1". Contrasting Color-4 sts = 1"; 6 rows = 1".
