Knitted Childs Cardigan Pullover, Elephant Motif

Sister and Brother Set:   This pattern gives directions to knit the garments pictured.   The set includes two designs - two separate patterns.   The first design is a childs pullover sweater with an elephant motif in a contrast band across the bottom front.  The second is a front buttoned cardigan with the elephant motif across the chest.  The pattern is written for childs size 2, with changes for 4 and 6 in parentheses.   Full page chart is included.  This pattern is included in a book review of American Thread Book 88.

Materials: AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" PERMANENT "CRIMP SET" NYLON or "DAWN" BABY YARN "DAWN" INFANTS WOOL; French Blue or Baby Blue r Color Desired. (Size 2 = 5 oz, Size 4 = 6 oz, Size 6 = 7 oz) 1 Oz. White;   1 pr. each knitting needles No. 1 and No. 3
