Description

Medallion Trimmed Pullover : This pattern gives directions to knit the pullover pictured. This is quite a classic 1950s design. An easy knit in a selection of yarns, the blouse is pullover with a higher round neckline a short -- above elbow -- length sleeves. The neck and sleeve edges are lightly ribbed, with wider ribbing at the below waist length. The design is written for misses sizes 12, 14, 16 and 18. Appearing in Smart Knitting Magazine, the pattern was called Medallion Pullover. The medallion is an option applique of your choice added when the knitting is completed.

MATERIALS:

  • Bear Brand or Fleisher's Imported DeLuxe Cashmere and Wool, (1/2 oz. Skein) ; 11 (12, 13, 15) sks; or Bear Brand or Fleisher's Super-Spun Nylon, (1 oz. Skein) ; 6 (7, 8, 9) sks.
  • No. 1 and No. 2 knitting needles.
  • 2 Bucilla medallions.

GAUGE: 17 sts =2".
