Description

Vintage Rug Knitting Pattern : This pattern gives directions for knitting the rug pictured. This pattern, part of a Woman's Day Leaflet, takes us back to 1946. It features an attractive diagonal pattern stitch with long strands of fringe at the long ends. The finished rug will measure 27 x 32 inches.

Materials:   COTTON RUG YARN, 8 balls of Yellow;   Knitting Pins, 1 pair No. 5 (4 mm. size).

GAUGE: 3 ½ sts make 1 inch; 5 rows make 1 inch.
