Knitted Dutch Cap Mittens Set No 5270

Knitted Dutch Cap & Mittens:  This pattern gives directions to knit the Cap and Mittens pictured.  A dashing Dutch cap is matched by a cozy pair of mittens for a perfect cold-weather set.  They are quick and easy to knit in snow-white or favorite color wool.

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5270.   The newspaper description:  "Fashion starts at the top in a soft Dutch Cap and ends with a cozy set of mittens - both in easy knit! Make them in white or your favorite color".

Materials:  BERNAT DUNDEE (50-gram balls) 2 (2, 3) Balls in desired color for set;   Needle: Aluminum Crochet Hook #F;   Straight Knitting Needles: #6, #8 and #10; Double-point (dp) Needles #8, or Round Needle #8;   Accessories: 2 Buttons   (Gauge: On #8 Needles -- 9 sts = 2 inches)
