Knitted Front Buttoned Blouse Pattern

Buttoned Front Blouse: This pattern contains directions for knitting, crochet detail, the blouse pictured. This is an attractive, and quite versatile design with ability to move from the office to casual wear. The blouse, with a ribbed type pattern stitch on the short sleeves and two rows down the front buttoned band. The below waist length blouse has a small notched collar. The design, vintage 1952 is worked in Knitting Worsted and can be made in misses sizes 14, 16 and 18.

Materials:

• Bishop's 3-ply Fingering Yarn 7 (8-9) 1-oz. skeins;
• Knitting Needles No. 3 (standard);
• Steel Crochet Hook No. 4 (standard) ;
• 9 buttons
• 1-1/4 yds. of 1" grosgrain ribbon.

Gauge: 7 sts = 1" (stockinette). 8 st = 1" (cable) .
