Description

Halter Dress and Jacket : This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet detail, the classy outfit pictured. This pattern, vintage 1960s, is from Needle and Yarn magazine. The original description is so marvelous, that I'm simple going to quote it.

"Soaring high in the fashion world is the almost bulky knit in your 'round the clock wardrobe. With all the confidence smart suiting is famous for, we think our halter jumper with matching finger tip jacket is a wardrobe headliner. If you are pressed for time to change for dinner, remove the jacket and feel as fetching as candlelight. Wear a lightweight jersey blouse under the jumper and create another chic costume. The service a smart little coat affors is endless -- and this adds up to three straight lines of fashion at its peak".

The halter styled dress , knee length (adjustable), has back zip closure. The open front jacket, has ribbed edgings and is well below hip length. Did you notice the little bows at the bottom sides?
