Knitted Helmet Pattern in Textured Stitch

Style No 3831 - Knitted Helmet: This pattern gives directions for knitting the cap pictured. This design, vintage 1950's from Bernat, was referred to as a helmet (more recently called a Balcalva). The design fits nicely over the head to cover the ears and neck for winter warmth. It secures below the chin with a buttonloop closure. The pattern is written as one-size.
