Description

Flowered Yoke Slipon: This  vintage 1964 pattern contains directions to knit the cute sweater pictured.  This is a raglan pullover in mohair yarn, two toned with contrast yoke and long raglan sleeves.  There are two patch pockets and embroidery flower trim at base of yoke (if desired).  The pattern is misses sized 10 to 18. The directions are written for size 10. Changes for 12, 14, 16 and 18 are written in parentheses.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:   Spinnerin Mohair 1001 or Cortina, 11 (12-13-14-15) 1-oz balls main color (MC); 2 (2-3-3-4) balls contrasting color (CC); 1 ball each A, B and C for embroidery; or Spinnerin Frostlon, 9 (10-11-12-12) 2-oz balls main color (MC): 1 (1-2-2-3) balls contrasting color (CC); 1 ball each A, Band C for embroidery.;   14" knitting needles Nos. 7 and 10;   One set dp needles No.7. (Or English sizes 6 and 3.) Four stitch holders;   Tapestry Needle

GAUGE: 4 sts = 1"; 11 rows = 2"; (pat, No. 10 needles).
