Knitted One Piece Shirtwaist Dress Pattern

One Piece Dress : This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet detail, the dress pictured. Vintage 1952, this design is on the 'dreamy' side. A true shirtwaist bodice with the buttoned front and rounded collar with small v-neck. There are long sleeves, a fitted waist, with belt, and full skirt that is knee length. The design has a back zipper closure. This pattern is written for misses size 12, with changes for 14, 16 and 18 in parentheses.

• Spinnerin Coquette or Dressy (1 oz. Skein), 31 (32, 33, 34) sks.
• Susan Bates No. 2 Circlon skirt needle;
• Susan Bates No. 0 and No. 2 knitting needles.
• No. 4 steel crochet hook;
• 7 small ball buttons;
• slide fasteners;
• 1 yd. of 1" grosgrain ribbon.

GAUGE: 8 sts = 1"; 12 rows =1".
