Knitted Open Front Jacket Pattern with Lace Fringe, Size 10 to 16

Malinche Jacket : This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet detail, the jacket shown. This is an open front jacket that is knit as back, left / right front and sleeves. When completed, lace and fringe braid are added, giving it the WOW factor. The directions are written for a size 10. Changes for size 12, 14 and 16 are shown in parentheses. This pattern design is vintage 1960s from Columbia Minerva. (Note: Color numbers will, most likely, no longer be available; you'll need to independently choose the color combinations).

Materials:

• Columbia-Minerva Nantuk Knitting Worsted (2 oz skein), 8 (9-10-10) skeins No 5248 ORKnitting Worsted (4 oz skein), 4 (5-5-5) skeins No 5018 AND
• 3 yards of fringe braid and 1 ½ yards of 1-inch lace.
• Knitting Needles: One pair "Boye" Size 8 and one steel crochet hook Size 00

Gauge: 9 sts to 2 inches; 7 rows to 1 inch
