Description

Evening Sweater : This pattern contains directions to knit the blouse pictured. This design, vintage 1952 from Chadwicks, is worked in Sock and Sweater Yarn. It is an easy design, pullover with a lacy yoked neckline that extends down into slight puffed sleeves. It is below waist length. When completed, (optional) sequins and are beads are added for additional glamour. The pattern is written for a misses size 12, with changes for 14, 16 and 18 in parentheses.

MATERIALS:

  • Chadwick's Red Heart Sock and Sweater Yarn, Art. E.255, (1 oz. Tangle-proof pull-out skeins). 5 sks.
  • No. 1 knitting needles.
  • Sequins and Beads or Rhinestones.
  • Round elastic.

GAUGE: 8 ½ sts =1"; 10 rows =1".

Bust Measurements Blocked: 32 (34, 36, 38)".
