Knitted Raglan Sleeve Jacket Pattern, Anne Cabot 5779

Knitted Sweater   This pattern gives direction to knit the sweater jacket pictured.  This is an easy knit design, waist length with collar and open front - knit in garter stitch.  The diamond trim is created with sew-on sequins (optional)..  The pattern written for size small, with changes for medium and large in parentheses.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5779.  The newspaper description:  Quick to knit and so very nice to wear... the Raglan-Sleeve Sweater! Made in white or a soft pastel, it's sure to be a favorite!" 

MATERIALS: "RED HEART" 4-Ply KNITTING WORSTED: 15 (17, 19) ounces of any color'   Sequin: Approximately 30 yards of Emerald Green (or color desired) stranded sequins for diamond pattern;   1 Pair of Straight Knitting Needles - No. 8; Circular Needle No. 10, 29-inch length.
