Description

Saddle Shoulder Cardigan : This pattern contains directions for knitting the cardigan shown. This design, with it's saddled shoulders, features a blue contrast stripe that runs the length of the long sleeves. As it standard in a classic cardigan, all the edges are ribbed and the front band features an eight button closure. The pattern is written for a misses size 14, with changes for 16 and 18 in parentheses.

Materials:

  • Bernat Laurelspun, 7 (7-8) 1 oz. balls Main Color (MC) ; 1 ball Contrasting Color (CC).
  • Straight knitting needles Nos. 1 and 3 (standard). English sizes, 12 and 10.
  • 8 buttons.
  • 5 bobbins.

Gauge: 7 sts=1"; 10 rows=1".
