Knitted Service Pullover Pattern Design 1075

Men's Service Pullover - Design 1075:  This pattern gives direction to knit the sleeveless pullover pictured.  The sweater, in an easy knit purl stitch with banded edges, v-neckline and hip length.   This was billed as a servicemen's pullover. An interesting note on this pattern .... the picture and description show it as a sweater and socks combo.   No sock instructions are included on the original pattern sheets.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed by Needlework Bureau as Design 1075 in 1942.  

MATERIALS: Sizes 36-38....8 oz. 4-ply Knitting Wool.  Sizes 40-42...10 oz;   1 pr. No. 2 American or No. 12 Canadian or English needles;   1 pr. No. 8 American or No. 9 Canadian or English needles
