Knitted Shell Evening Dress Pattern

Shimmering Blue Dress : This pattern contains instructions to knit, crochet edges, the alluring dress pictured above. The lacy blue knit column reflects sparkle of night lights. Delicate pattern is emphasized by plain yoke. A-line shaping is done only by changing size of needle. Hem, neckline, armholes are bound with satin tubing. Wear over a matching blue slip. This pattern is sized 10 to 18. Instructions are written for size 10, with changes for 12, 14, 16 and 18 shown in parentheses. 

Materials: 

• - Reynolds Cotillion, 30 gram balls
• - 14 inch knitting needles Nos 3, 4 and 5 (Or English sizes 10, 9 and 8)
• - Steel crochet hook No 2
• - matching satin for binding 
• - matching satin slip
• - 5 small button molds or matching satin buttons and sewing thread.
