Description
Overblouse : This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet detail, the blouse pictured. This vintage 1952 design, worked in Fingering Yarn - from Bishops, is officially termed an over-blouse. The blouse is short sleeves with ribbon trimmed front edges and snap closures. The hip length top has a small notched collar and a most interesting all-over pattern stitch. The instructions are written for misses size 12, with changes for 14 and 16 in parentheses.
MATERIALS:
- Bishop's 3-Ply Fingering Yarn (1 oz. pull skeins), 6 (6, 7, 8) sks.
- No. 3 knitting needles.
- No. 4 Clipson crochet hook.
- 1 ¼ yds. of 1" grosgrain ribbon;
- snap fasteners.
GAUGE: 7 sts=1"; 10 rows =1".
