Description

Knitted Shrug:   This pattern contains directions to knit the shrug pictured.   This is a VERY easy pattern knit in one piece in a rib stitch.  For texture and contrast, there is a wide cable trim all the way around.  The front is rounded just below bust line.   The design is written for size medium - which in the 1950's would correlate to 10 to 14. 

MATERIALS

  • BERNAT Nylo Pompadour (2 oz. skeins) — 5
  • 1 pair each straight knitting needles Nos. 5 and 8 
  • 1 d p needle or cable holder

 GAUGE: 5 sts 1 inch 7 rows = 1 inch
