Description

Striped Cardigan:   This pattern gives directions to knit the cardigan pictured.   This is a classic 1950's design - loose fitting with two toned horizontal stripes, 3/4 sleeves, front buttoned and banded edges.   The pattern is written for misses size 12, with changes for 14, 16 and 18 in parenthesis.  

Materials:  Bear Brand De Luxe Sock and Sport Yarn, Color A 5 (6-7-8) ozs; B 3 (3-4-4) ozs, Color C 2 (23-3) ozs;   Bucilla pure Silk Tweed 400 yd tubes 4 (4-5-5);   Plastic Knitting Needles No. 2 & No. 3.   (Gauge: No. 3 Needles-8 sts = 1"; 21 rows = 2").
