The picture here is a bit blurry, but it's still obvious that this vintage 1960's design is quite fun ... both to knit and to wear.  

Description

Stripe Front Dress:  This pattern contains instructions to knit, crochet edges, the shift pictured above. And what a fun mini dress this is - vertical stripes down the front, widening as they reach the hips, short sleeves and a round neckline. All in a very comfy pullover. This vintage pattern, 1966, is multi-sized. The instructions are for misses size 10. Changes for sizes 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 are in parentheses. AND, I've heard that stripes are supposed to be so slimming!

Materials:  Spinnerin Oasis, 14 (16- 18-20-20-21) l-oz, skeins main color (MC) and 3 (3-3-3-4-4) skeins contrasting color (CC);  Knitting needles Nos. 3 and 6;  Steel crochet hook No.3;   7 bobbins.

Gauge: 6 sts and 8 rows = 1 inch (No 6 needles).
