Knitted Striped Shell Skirt PDF Pattern

Striped Shell and Basic Skirt : This pattern contains directions to knit the outfit pictured. This is a great mix and match set; wear the piece together or separately. The pullover shell is thinly stripped in three colors, sleeveless, waist length with a high boat neck. The knee length skirt is knee length with back zip closure. The shell is sized small, medium, large. The skirt is sized for a waist 25, 26 or 27 inches. There is an attached handout that contains information on resizing, if needed. This pattern set is vintage 1960s from American Thread.

• 2 (all sizes) ounces White
• 3 (3, 4) ounces Lt. Navy
• 1 Pro Knitting Needles No. 4

GAUGE: 7 sts = 1 inch

• 1 Pro Knitting Needles No. 2 OR ANY SIZE NEEDLES WHICH WILL RESULT IN STITCH GAUGE BELOW
• Steel Crochet Hook No.2
• 7 inch CONMAR NO-SNAG zipper
• 1 yd. 1 inch Grosgrain Ribbon
• 2 hooks and eyes.

GAUGE: 8 sts = 1 inch; 10 rows = 1 inch
