Description

Striped Shortie: This vintage 1966 knitting pattern creates the really fun sweater pictured above. The sweater features above elbow length sleeves, neck, arm and bottom bands and the bold, and fun, stripes and 4 jumbo buttons. This pattern is sized for 12; no other provisions are made.

Materials:

  • Bernat Super Knitting Worsted (2 oz skeins): 3 skeins each of Main Color (MC) and Contrasting Color (CC).
  • Knitting needles: 1 pair of No 8 or size required to knit to gauge. Also 4 buttons and 1 yard of ribbon.

Gauge: 5 sts = 1 inch; 7 rows = 1 inch.
