Knitted Tabbard Top Pattern Design 2649

The Tabard: This knitting pattern contains directions to make the Tabard pictured. The tabard can be such a decorative piece to wear over other tops. This particular design, worked in seed stitch, is two toned with color bands around edges and the v-neckline and side looped panels. This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 2649.  The newspaper description:  "Warm tabbard for skirts and pants made from 4-ply knitting worsted size small, medium and large".
