Description

Knitted Westkit:  This pattern gives directions to knit the vest pictured.  Officially named a westkit (waistcoat), this 1949 a small v-neckline, front button panel and a shaped hemline.  Knit in Sport Yarn, finish edges in sc.  The pattern is sized  6, 8, 10, 12 // Instructions are for size 6. Changes for sizes 8, 10 and 12 are in parentheses.  

MATERIALS: Botany Sport Yam, 2-oz skeins. 3 skeins;    No.1 knitting needles;    No. 2 steel crochet hook;   6 buttons.   (GAUGE: 7 sts= 1”; 10 rows=1")
