Knitting Bedspread Pattern Zig Zag Motif HH46

Vintage Knitted Bedspread : This pattern contains instructions to knit the bedspread shown. This design, vintage 1946 appeared in Woman's Day mail-away leaflet number HH-46. The pattern is a fun zig-zag (or ripple if you prefer) motif that is knit in three 24 inch panels that are joined, and then the knitted bedskirt added to three sides. The official description: "An heirloom spread in zigzag repeats. Old in design but young n spirit, this spread fits either a traditional or modern mood".   Each panel measures 24 inches wide after blocking.

Materials:   BEDSPREAD COTTON, 39 balls of White, Ecru or Cream for Single Size Spread; 45-balls of White, Ecru or Cream for Double-Size Spread;   Knitting Pins, I pair No. 4 (3 ½ mm. size).
