Description

Cashmere Cardigan : This pattern contains instructions for knitting, crochet detail, the cardigan shown. This vintage 1950 design from Bernat is a great wardrobe staple. The official magazine description: "Cashmere Cardigan in luscious coral. Cable design and ribbed sleeves offer a pleasing variation of the 'cable look'. The design has the classic front button band, short sleeves and is hip length.

SIZES 14, 16, 18 - Instructions are for size 14. Changes for sizes 16 and 18 are in parentheses.

Materials:

  • Bernat Super Cashmere and Wool, 8 (9-9) 2/3-oz. balls.
  • Straight knitting needles Nos. 1 and 3 (standard). English sizes, 12 and 10.
  • Dp needle.
  • Steel crochet hook No. 1.
  • Six buttons.
  • 1 yd. 1 ½" grosgrain ribbon.

Gauge: 8 sts=1"; 10 rows=1".
