Description

Buttoned Front Sleeveless : This pattern contains directions to knit the blouse pictured. An intermediate project worked in Light Fingering yarn, the knitting pattern features a high turtleneck band and wide bottom band that is hip length. Sleeveless, of course, there is a 7 button front closure. The design, vintage early 1950s, is written for a size 10, with changes for 12, 14 and 16 in parentheses.

Note: The monogram cross stitch pattern is not included. This was a mail-away extra for 10 cents.

Materials:

  • "Botany" Brand Saxatones (MC), 3 (3-4-4) 2-oz. pull skeins; A few yds. "Botany" Brand Saxatones in a contrasting color; MC (White)
  • Knitting Needles Nos. 1 and 3 (standard) ;
  • 8 buttons.

Gauge: 8 sts = 1"; 10 rows = 1".
