Description

Figured Dinner Blouse:    This pattern gives directions to knit, crochet detail, the blouse pictured.    This 1951 pattern is billed as an evening blouse, textured in appearance (worked to 3/4 page chart).  The pullover blouse is sleeveless, with extended shoulders, just below waist length and a nicely scoop rounded neck.  pattern is written for misses size 12, with changes for 14, 16 and 18 in parentheses.  

Materials:  

  • Columbia. Marcelaine (1 oz. ball). Main Color (MC) 5 (6,7) balls; Contrasting Color (CC) 4 (5,6) balls. 
  • No. 1 and No. 3 knitting needles. 
  • Steel Crochet hook No. 4.

GAUGE: 9 sts =1"; 12 rows =1". 

Bust Measurements Blocked: 34 (36, 38)".
