Description

No 3417 Two Piece Dress: This pattern gives instructions to knit, crochet detail, the dress shown. This official magazine description for this vintage 1950 pattern: "Asymmetrical Lines slant upward as a front feature in a wonderful white dress individualized with red. Red buttons, red belt, are added. Extra highlight for town party or for country wear." The directions are written for misses size 12, with changes for 14 and 16 in parentheses.

Materials:

  • Fleisher's Silhouette, 21 (22-24) 1-oz. skeins main color A; 3 skeins contrasting color B.
  • Bucilla circular steel knitting needle No. 2.
  • Bucilla Featherlite aluminum knitting needles No. 2 (standard). English size, 11.
  • Steel crochet hook No. 4.

Gauge: 8 sts=1"; 12 rows or rnds=1"
